Free Weather Icons
Whether you’re creating a free weather app or weather-based website, you’ll need a way to represent the different types of weather systems. That’s where today’s free icon set comes in. I have created a collection of free weather icons, which are available in vector format. There are actually 2 different sets. One set is completely flat, while the other one has subtle gradations for dimension. You can preview both sets of my free weather icons below.
My goal with this set of free weather icons is to represent the many different weather systems you’ll expect to find in nature. There are icons for sunny weather, sleet, rain, snow, a hot sunny day, or a windy, rainy day. There’s even an icon for possible tornado activity. The semi-transparent clouds represent fog of hazy weather. They have been created in Adobe Illustrator, and have been saved down to CS1. You’ll be able to modify or edit these icons however you wish.
You can use these free weather icons in personal or commercial projects however you choose. You don’t have to give me credit or attribution for using it. The only thing that I ask you not to do is to redistribute this file or sell it somewhere else on the web.
