Cool Free Fonts
It’s been a while since I have put together a collection of free fonts you’ll actually want to use. I have rounded up a good collection of free fonts that are elegant, beautiful, organic, and more. There’s a little something for everyone here, so you’ll want to check out these coll free fonts for August.
Etna
ETNA is a big, bold font that would be great for headlines and titles. It’s free for personal use. Under the dropdown box, make sure you select personal to get it for free.
Besom
I could see Besom being used in anything organic or rugged. Think about how great this would look for a wildlife or hunting gear company.
Beyno
I like just about any font where elements are highly customized, altered or taken away.
Foxhole
hand drawn fonts are becoming increasingly popular. They each have their own personality, which adds a personal touch to your work.
Aquatico
Aquatico is a rounded font that looks great in modern designs. The rounded corners were a good choice.
Bernier
Who doesn’t love vintage or retro fonts? Bernier is definitely getting added to my collection.
Monoid
Monoid is a coding font, but I could see this used in anything that has to do with computers and technology.
Reef
Reef is a rounded typeface that is balanced and gives you a lot of flexibility.
Ikaros
Ikaros is a great font with all sorts of glyphs and alternates. This makes it a great choice for translation.
Kanji
Kanji takes a unique approach, with parallel lines. I could see this being used in architecture or something similar. I had trouble with this one. To initiate the download, click on the picture.
Bough
Bough is a super bold, hand drawn font that has a distinct look. I could see this being used for a bakery or a something that needs to be bold, but with a little organic flair.
LomBok
Lombok takes the less is more approach. It’s thin, modern and looks great.
Katahdin
Katahdin is bold, with rounded corners. It would look great in posters or large designs.
Conclusion
I hope you enjoyed this collection of cool free fonts you can use to spruce up your work. Which one is your favorite? Mine would have to be Bernier, because I am a sucker for vintage and retro. I want to hear what you think, so be sure to leave a comment below.
