Smoke Photoshop Brushes
If you remember a few weeks back, I created free high resolution fire and cloud brushes for Photoshop. This week, I put together a collection of 20 free smoke Photoshop brushes you can download. These are all high resolution, and you can layer them to create smoke effects in your design work. You can preview all 20 free smoke Photoshop Brushes below.
I hope you enjoy these free smoke Photoshop brushes. They are high resolution and were created in the latest version of Photoshop CC 2014. The file size is 30MB, so it make take a minute or two to download. You may use these free Photoshop brushes in personal and commercial design projects. The only thing you can’t do with them is redistribute them or sell them to others. If you want to share these brushes, please link to this post.
To install these Photoshop brushes, download this file. Then, unzip it and go into Photoshop. In the Brushes Panel, you can load them my clicking the flyout menu and selecting Load Brushes. Then, point to the .abr file and hit ok, to install them. You can append your current brushes, meaning you just add them to the end of your currently active brushes. They will automatically be as large as they can possible be. Use the Open bracket, or “[” key to decrease the size of your brush to fit your project. If you want white or colored smoke, choose white as your color. You can color the smoke brushes by adding Inner and Out Glow Layers styles to them. Just make sure to set the blend mode to Color or Hard Light.
